Returns & Non-conforming Product

 

Due to our certified SQF practices, FSMA regulations, along with the nature and shelf-life of our consumable products such as coffee, cocoa, tea, and custom made product we cannot accept returns—even if the returned packages were to appear to be new or unopened. The reason is simple: We remain diligent to providing you the safest and highest quality products available in the market.

While we make every effort to give you as many product variations as possible, Edw. Apffel Co. is not responsible for sending replacement orders for those made in error. Please be careful when selecting our products as our coffee comes in both whole bean and ground.  For example, if a customer orders a 2lbs of whole bean coffee and needed a ground product, Edw. Apffel Co. will not exchange if order has been shipped. If you contact our facility (either by phone or email) prior to processing and packaging, we will make every effort to adjust the order as necessary.  If the order ships exactly as entered the sale is final.  

We do realize that on very rare occasion that issues do occur with products that is out of the norm. Apffels remains 100% dedicated to our customers and has a created a way that makes notifying us of these non-conforming item(s) simple. Please call 562-309-0400 for customer service or email us at orders@apffels.com. Customer service will begin a complaint form. You will be instructed on what to do from there.

Please note that the aforementioned method above is the only accepted way to notify us of the non-conforming item(s). If non-conforming items are returned without prior notice it will not be accepted.
